About The Firs Home Care
The Firs Home Care was founded in 2019 to offer domiciliary care services in Wiltshire. Its main office is located at Forest Gate, Pewsham. The office operates Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with an out-of-hours on-call service available seven days a week from 17:00, ensuring 24-hour support.
We offer our services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
All requests for domiciliary care support are handled by this office, which then arranges for community support workers to visit individuals based on the care needs outlined in the care assessment plan.
After a comprehensive assessment of care needs conducted by The Firs Home Care, the appropriate domiciliary support is determined. When the Community Support Services can address an individual's requirements, a risk assessment and a summary of care needs are completed before the scheduled care begins.
At The Firs Home Care, you can be assured that this agency meets the Commission's requirements in relation to both the quality of the service provided and the organisational framework that supports it. The current policies and procedures have been designed to meet those requirements and to reflect the evolving nature of the service. The Firs Home Care is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Citygate, Gallow Gate, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE1 4WH.

Mrs. Shen Butt, the owner of Genie Care Homes, oversees a collective of locally owned and managed care homes with nursing services in the southwest region, particularly in Bristol, Gloucester, and Wiltshire. Founded in 1998 with the acquisition of The Worthies Residential Home, the organisation has grown over two decades to operate twelve care homes across Bristol, Gloucester, and Wiltshire.
